Step 2
Create Your Instance
From your dashboard, create a new instance. Just pick a name and we handle the rest.
- Choose a unique name for your instance - this becomes your subdomain (e.g., mybot.botitout.com).
- Select an agent template from 45+ pre-built options, or start with the default.
- Free AI models are included by default - no API key needed to get started.
- Click deploy and we automatically provision a dedicated server, configure DNS, and set up SSL.
Step 3
Wait for Provisioning
Your dedicated server is being set up. This usually takes under 10 minutes.
- A real server is being provisioned just for you - not shared hosting.
- You'll see a live progress indicator on your dashboard as each step completes.
- The system configures your server, installs OpenClaw, sets up networking, SSL certificates, and DNS records.
- Once provisioning completes, your instance status changes to "Active".

Choose Your AI Provider
Your instance starts with free AI models included - no API key needed. Want premium models? Add your own key anytime.
- Free tier is pre-configured with free AI models via OpenRouter - start chatting immediately.
- To upgrade, go to your instance page and add an API key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), or any supported provider.
- Your key is sent directly to your dedicated server over an encrypted connection.
- Bot It Out never stores or logs your API keys - they live only on your server.
Step 5
Connect Channels (Optional)
Talk to your AI agent from anywhere - Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, or Discord.
- Telegram: Message @BotFather to create a bot, copy the token, and paste it into your instance settings.
- Slack: Create a Slack app, install it to your workspace, and add the bot token to your instance.
- WhatsApp: Connect via the WhatsApp Business API - add your phone number ID and access token.
- Discord: Create a Discord bot, invite it to your server, and add the bot token to your instance.
- You can connect multiple channels at once - your AI agent responds on all of them.
Step 6
Manage & Monitor
Use your dashboard to monitor health, view logs, change agent packages, and manage your subscription.
- The dashboard shows real-time health status and response time charts for your instance.
- Switch between 45+ agent templates at any time - changes deploy automatically.
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan whenever you need more (or less) power.
- If something goes wrong, use the built-in diagnostics tool to identify and fix issues.

How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to your instance page and click the upgrade button. Choose your new plan, complete payment, and your server will be automatically resized - no downtime required.
